Join us for a delicious assortment of breakfast toasts and bubbly cocktails / mocktails.
There will be an open mic where you can toast or roast the couple, so bring your best material!

We are so excited to bring our community together, and to make the most of it, we’ve planned an afternoon of light-spirited games.
You’ll make some new friends, get some sweet swag, and compete to reunite a couple of love leopards who can save their species from extinction. Stay tuned ;)
-
SATURDAY • ~4pm
Take a moment to relax in your room, play a pick-up volleyball game, or lounge by the pool with some homemade popsicles. Better yet, try all three.
-
SATURDAY • 6pm
We are so excited to bring a little of Steph’s hometown vibes to the weekend! Delta-inspired musician, Roharpo the Bluesman, will be there with his band performing Blues classics and originals.
Bring your dancing shoes and your appetites, as there will be some great Memphis-style BBQ to enjoy as well!

We’ll wrap up the evening with a low-key outdoor movie. We’ll have some blankets and pillows set up so you can cozy up and enjoy the screening. Make sure you vote for your pick on your RSVP!
Sunday Interlude
While the wedding party is getting ready, we encourage you to plan ahead to make the most of the beautiful Lost Sierra region!
Sunday’s scheduled events won’t begin until late afternoon, so we did some research on the best options in the region for you to enjoy your day. Make sure you book ahead as needed, and just plan to be back and looking spiffy by ~4pm.

Swimming, Kayaking, etc.: There are more than 100 lakes in the region, and you can drive or hike to any of them. Some of the local favorites are Gold Lake (and Frazier Falls), Round Lake, Silver Lake, Cub Lake, Little Bear Lake, and Big Bear Lake.
While there are countless swimmable lakes you can hike to, Lake Davis has a nearby store where you can reserve a kayak or fishing boat. A little further out, the marina at Bucks Lake offers a wide range of boat and sporting rentals.
For general rentals check out Feather River Outdoors .
Boating & Fishing: There are tons of options, but to get you started, the Lower Sardine Lake in Lakes Basin is a designated fishing lake. You can rent a motor boat or row boat from Sardine Lake Resort, then grab a drink or a bite at their lakeside restaurant.
-
Hiking: This list includes four of the local favorites, including the popular Lake Basin area (which you can easily pair with a swim!) & Plumas National Forest, but with so many great options in the region, AllTrails is your best friend.
Biking: Here’s a great list of both mountain biking trails and road trails. Check out Feather River Outdoors, Yuba Expeditions or Downieville Outfitters for rentals and more information on nearby trails.
Birding: The Feather River Land Trust’s Sierra Valley Preserve is known for great birding in the region, like greater sandhill cranes, black tern, redhead, white-faced ibis and 200-plus pairs of yellow-headed blackbirds.
-
ATV Tour: Explore the 1500 acre Diamond Ranch on a 2-3 hour tour
E-Bike Tour (pending reopening): Reserve 2-3 hour guided electric Bike adventure on a beautiful private 1800 acre ranch.
Horseback Riding: Spend anywhere from 1.5 - 6 hours on horseback exploring the trails of nearby lakes and pine forests.
-
At the nearby Nakoma Resort, you’ll find an 18-hole championship course called “The Dragon”. Designed by Robin Nelson, creator of the famous Dunes at Mauna Lani, the Dragon debuted as one of America’s Top 75, according to Golf World.
Or, ranked the Sierra’s #1 Public Course, Grizzly Ranch Golf Club is a championship course designed by world renowned architect, Bob Cupp.
Neither Dave nor Steph knows what any of this means, but if you like to golf, you should check it out.
For families, there is also a driving range and mini golf course in town, plus the lodge has a 9-hole course you can play anytime.
-
On Property: Enjoy the sprawling grounds, 9-hole golf course, pool, and hike down to Feather River, all without having to leave the property.
Spa & Dining: Nearby Nakoma Resort offers spa treatments, which you can pair with a bite from their on-site bistro.
-
Western Pacific Railroad Museum: Perfect for train enthusiasts, this nearby collection of climbable locomotives is a family favorite. It’s got a great reputation for being a hands-on look at both the history and engineering of some pretty cool trains.
Kentucky Mine Park & Museum: A little further out in Sierra City, this working gold mine gives visitors a chance to see how it all works and learn about the history of the region’s Gold Rush.
Thank you for making the trip!
